Khao Yam Pak Tai (Thai : ข้าวยำปักษ์ใต้, Pronounced : (K̄ĥāwyả pạks̄ʹ̒ tı̂ )) Southern Thai Mixed Rice Khao Yam Pak Tai is dish of classic southern Thai food that people like to eat for breakfast or lunch. Khao yam pak tai comes in many versions but the basic recipe for the most widespread variety involves mixing cooked rice with slices unripe mango, pomelo, dried shrimp, puffed rice, bean sprouts, dry fried shed coconut, long green bean, sliced lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and budu sauce ( น้ำบูดู ). Sometimes lime juice and chili powder is added for additional flavor. Khao Yam Pak Tai is Budu sauce. The good taste of Khao Yam depend on Budu sauce. Budu sauce mixing water, fish sauce, brown sugar, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, kaffir lime shell, galangal, shallot and torch ginger.
